The bigger picture
We're looking for a detail-oriented, solution-focused critical thinker with a strong technical background to come on board as our Loan Origination System (LOS) Technical Administrator at our College Avenue location in Regina, Saskatchewan. In this position, you'll play a key role in ensuring our lending technology supports an exceptional experience for both employees and members and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement updates, resolve technical issues, and enhance system performance. You'll act as the technical expert for our loan origination systems, balancing system administration, user support, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
How you'll be spending your time
- Overseeing the day-to-day administration, configuration, maintenance, and support of the nCino Loan Origination System (LOS) and other lending systems.
- Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring applications remain stable, secure, and optimized for business needs.
- Managing system updates, patching, user access, permissions, queues, and configurations to ensure alignment with organizational standards.
- Gathering and translating business requirements into system solutions that improve lending processes and user experience.
- Serving as a trusted technical resource for Business Advisors, lenders, underwriters, and other end users by providing guidance, training, and issue resolution.
- Providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support, responding to questions about system functionality, capabilities, and best practices.
- Partnering with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements, workflow automation, and enhanced reporting capabilities.
- Collaborating with internal analysts, developers, IT teams, and external vendors to design, test, implement, and maintain system enhancements.
- Validating technical requirements and participating in system testing, ensuring new functionality performs as expected and meets business objectives.
- Safeguarding the integrity, security, and availability of loan data through effective controls, backups, and disaster recovery practices.
- Maintaining comprehensive system documentation, including configurations, processes, procedures, and support materials.
- Ensuring lending systems comply with organizational standards, security protocols, escalation processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Staying current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging best practices to continuously enhance lending system capabilities and user experience.
- Contributing to the evolution of Conexus's lending technology ecosystem by identifying opportunities to improve processes, capabilities, and user adoption.

The experience you bring
- 3+ years of experience supporting, administering, or enhancing business applications in financial services or a similarly regulated environment.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Economics, Analytics, or a relevant combination of experience and post-secondary education.
- Knowledge of CUDGC regulatory environment.
- Familiarity with commercial and agricultural lending practices and regulatory requirements is an asset.
- Experience with nCino is considered a strong asset. Experience with Salesforce or other cloud-based business applications is also beneficial.
- Experience with user access management, security roles, workflows, configuration, reporting, testing, and production support.
- Experience working with system data, reporting, analytics, or operational dashboards is an asset.
- Basic understanding of underwriting systems and lending processes.
- Knowledge of lending policies, procedures, systems, and tools.
- Knowledge and sound understanding of applicable federal and provincial legislation and regulatory requirements related to the areas of loan and lending products.
