As a Soil Sampler you will travel across your assigned region and use GPS equipment and specialized company-provided vehicles to collect soil samples from our customer's fields, to be analyzed by a Corvian laboratory. What you'll be doing:
- Travel to assigned rural locations to take core soil samples from grower's fields
- Ensure quality control and accurate recording of sample data
- Regularly communicate with leadership to discuss field conditions
- Sampling database administration and maintenance
- Safe operation of motorized vehicles and specialized sampling equipmentWhat you'll need to be successful:
- Valid driver's license* for designated province/state of employment;
- Some agricultural experience would be an asset;
- Ability to carry up to 40lbs;
- Ability to travel, often to rural areas
- Availability to work a combination of days, evenings and/or weekends
- The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of, and maintain an acceptable driving record, consistent with our Vehicle Use Policies, to be eligible for employment with Corvian.
